The second day at SEALA reveals galvanized
participants, leaders who have sworn to take Anand’s “Being All In” challenge
to heart. As the amazement of the first day fades, a determined decision to
extract the most of this academy takes its place.
Nikolas inquires insightfully |
Anand begins with a discussion of value innovation. In teams
of six, he allocates a mere eight minutes to come up with a concise way to re-invent
a decaying industry. The task was simple: develop a strategy to save it.
Sure enough, our brilliant leaders created astounding ways
to prevail over obstacles in the way of the industry’s success.

As the day progresses, participants are drawn to each other
to delve deeper into the weighty lecture topics. Susan Sutterfield, the facilitator coordinator, enriches the participants’ understanding as she lends
her expertise.
After value-innovation, the second learning for day two is
self-awareness. It never ceases to move participants how Anand can pick up
their charts and begin to describe their innermost thoughts as though he has lived
with them for years. So moved, they returned for an optional session
late in the evening for more.
